TOPIC- MEETING ON TERRORISM IN ISLAMABAD

GUESTS- TALAL CH, HAMID KHAN, MURTAZA WAHAB, GENERAL GHULAM MURTAZA

TALAL CH OF PML-N said that high profile meetings held in Islamabad today because of the Quetta incident small meetings are held in routine. He said that NECTA has been constituted in two provinces but not in other two it has to be formed in all four provinces. He said that the government has released 1.2 billion rupees to NECTA. He said that the political leadership has completely backed up its forces in the fight against the terrorism.

HAMID KHAN OF PTI said that Quetta incident is the result of national action plan because it has not been implemented completely. He said that the operation Zarb-e-Azb is competed in a way that high profile blasts are taking place.

MURTAZA WAHAB OF PPPP said that normally condolences are offered for the deceased, visits are paid to the wounded and then we forget the victims of the terrorism. He said that the province of Sindh has requested to the federal government to cooperate but it has not been responded. He said that the Sindh government has asked to get excess to the record of NADRA and for GSN detector technology but it has not been given as yet.

He said that work is being done swiftly on police reforms in Sindh and the draft has been prepared for it.

GENERAL (R) GHULAM MURTAZA said that the government is unable to understand the war against terrorism they have to take it forward. He said that there is need to make tough decisions but political vantages come in the way. He said that we need to revisit our foreign policy in order to fight against the terrorism. He said that the government is trying to protect itself and the people are dying. He said that the war against the terrorism in the cities is fought by the police but that has not been trained for it.
